KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister inaugurated an online registration system on Monday for births, deaths, marriages, and divorces, terming it a key milestone in the province’s digital governance efforts.

The system will allow citizens to apply for civil certificates from home, track application progress, and obtain verified digital records, reducing reliance on manual paperwork. Officials said the initiative is expected to improve transparency, curb corruption, and ensure better accuracy in official records through a centralized database.

They added that the service will especially facilitate people in rural areas who often face difficulties accessing timely documentation. The CM expressed confidence that the digital platform would significantly improve public service delivery across Sindh.
