In a major security meeting chaired by Chief of Defence Forces and Army Chief Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, military leaders emphasised that **no individual or group—political or otherwise—will be permitted to undermine Pakistan’s national unity, stability, or security. The 273rd Corps Commanders Conference reaffirmed commitment to combating terrorism and dismantling terror networks, particularly those allegedly supported by foreign elements.

Participants praised the intelligence-based counter-terrorism operations carried out by the Pakistan Army nationwide and paid tribute to martyrs who lost their lives in recent attacks. They also condemned attempts to create divisions within the state and society, vowing decisive action against terrorists and their facilitators without any leniency.
The forum underscored the importance of sustainable peace and internal security, supported efforts to strengthen social cohesion, and stressed that the armed forces remain fully prepared to defend Pakistan’s sovereignty.
