Unprovoked firing by Afghan Taliban and Fitna al-Khawarij in Kurram, Pakistan; the army responds forcefully

According to Islamabad’s News Reporter, the Afghan Taliban and Fitna al-Khawarij opened unprovoked fire in Kurram, and the Pakistan Army responded forcefully and fiercely, as claimed by security sources. 

Taliban posts suffered significant damage as a result of the Pakistani army’s firing. Security sources claim that the Afghan Taliban installations were burned. The Taliban left the posts and fled after their tank was destroyed as well.

In the Kurram area, another Afghan Taliban post, training camp, and tank position were demolished. Several dead were left at the checkpoint after the Taliban left.

According to security officials, Shamshad Post, the Afghan Taliban’s fourth tank position, was demolished in less than an hour. According to sources, the Pakistan Army carried out a significant operation in which they killed a prominent Fitna al-Khawarij commander. (Jang News)
