A SUPARCO spokesperson confirmed that the satellite established stable communication with ground stations shortly after its launch. It now transmits high-resolution images back to Earth, providing vital data for infrastructure development, regional planning, and disaster management. The spokesperson highlighted the satellite’s ability to capture high-quality imagery, which promises to transform how Pakistan addresses urban growth and resource allocation.
The satellite’s capabilities extend to strengthening disaster response systems. It equips authorities with timely data to monitor and mitigate the impacts of floods, landslides, earthquakes, and other natural hazards. This technology arrives at a crucial time, as Pakistan grapples with ongoing monsoon-related devastation in regions like Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
