Muhammad Amir Siddiqui, of the Provincial Assembly (MPA) from Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P), tabled a resolution in the Sindh Assembly to issue a commemorative currency note honoring “Maarka-e-Haq” (The Battle of Truth).
This initiative aims to celebrate the triumph of Pakistan’s unwavering spirit and unity, symbolized by the term “Baniyan al-Marsoos” (a fortified structure), which reflects the nation’s resilience and sacrifices in the face of challenges.
Siddiqui’s resolution calls for immortalizing “Maarka-e-Haq” through a currency note to keep the memory of Pakistan’s historic struggle alive.
He described “Baniyan al-Marsoos” as a shining example of steadfastness and sacrifice against adversaries, emphasizing its significance as a unifying force for the nation.
“Like a solid wall, we stand as one nation, one voice,” Siddiqui declared, underscoring MQM-P’s commitment to fostering national pride and unity.
