Bollywood star Anushka Sharma and her husband, Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli, have purchased a sprawling 5.19-acre plot of land in Alibaug, near Mumbai, for a reported ₹37.86 crore (approx.). The acquisition comes just months after the couple relocated to London with their young daughter, signaling continued investment in premium real estate in India’s popular coastal belt.

Documents obtained from a real estate consultancy show the deal was registered on January 13, 2026, with ₹2.27 crore paid in stamp duty, underscoring the high-end nature of the property. Alibaug—already a favourite retreat for celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Kartik Aaryan, and Sahana Khan—has strengthened its reputation as a luxury destination among India’s elite.
The latest purchase adds to the couple’s growing portfolio and reinforces Alibaug’s status as an upscale residential and holiday hotspot for film and sports personalities.
