Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that the Afghan Taliban attacked Pakistan at the behest of India, and the Pakistan Army, led by Field Marshal Asim Munir, gave a befitting reply.

Speaking to the federal cabinet, the prime minister claimed that the Afghan Taliban had requested a 48-hour ceasefire. It is now the Afghan Taliban’s turn to decide. A truce is unacceptable if it is just for the sake of passing time. To eradicate terrorism, the Afghan Taliban will need to take decisive action.
According to Shahbaz Sharif, terrorists have been allowed to operate freely in Afghanistan. Recent events are intolerable. The Pakistani army had to defend itself against Afghan aggression, and it responded appropriately to the Khawarijis.

The Prime Minister stated that friendly countries, particularly Qatar, are working to resolve this issue.
According to the prime minister, Pakistan and Afghanistan have a long shared border of two thousand kilometers, and despite its limited resources, it is home to four million Afghan residents.
According to Shahbaz Sharif, Pakistani police, army troops, and civilians are being martyred by Afghan insurgents. We have upheld and sustained our brotherly relationship with Afghanistan, will continue to do so, and are prepared to engage in dialogue with it on reasonable conditions.
