Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir held a high-level meeting with Bangladesh Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan at the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi to discuss bolstering defence cooperation between Pakistan and Bangladesh.

The two military leaders engaged in detailed talks on bilateral security issues, regional stability, and enhancing professional collaboration. They agreed on the importance of strengthening military links, training exchanges, and joint defence initiatives to support peace and security in the region.
Also present during the visit were senior commanders from both countries, including Naval Chief Admiral Naveed Ashraf, who met Bangladesh’s air force chief separately, reflecting broad interest in expanding military ties across services.
Bangladesh’s air chief praised the professional capabilities of Pakistan’s armed forces, acknowledging their role in regional security efforts. Field Marshal Munir reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to long-term defence cooperation with Bangladesh, highlighting warm and longstanding diplomatic relations.
