Director General ISPR Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has delivered a firm message amid rising political and social polarisation, stating that no individual’s politics, party loyalty, or caste identity is above Pakistan.

Speaking at a media briefing, the military spokesperson stressed that the country’s sovereignty, constitutional order, and internal stability must always take priority over political rivalries and social divisions. He said the armed forces remain committed to safeguarding the state, supporting democratic processes, and ensuring that all institutions operate within the limits set by the Constitution.
The DG ISPR warned that unchecked polarisation weakens national cohesion and creates space for hostile forces to exploit internal fault lines. He urged political leaders, media platforms, and citizens to exercise responsibility in their speech and actions and to avoid narratives that deepen division.

“Pakistan’s strength lies in unity and the rule of law,” he said, adding that safeguarding national interests requires collective maturity, restraint, and respect for institutions.
