Why Fawad Khan Avoids Social Media, And His Reason Is Surprisingly Relatable

Superstar Fawad Khan may be a household name, but he’s quietly defying the norms—he barely touches social media, and for a deeply human reason. During a recent comedy show appearance to promote his upcoming film Neelofer (with Mahira Khan), a fan asked a simple question: “Why don’t we see you much on Instagram or Twitter?”

Fawad’s answer was surprisingly honest: “I am just not fond of it … I might become addicted.” He admitted that being active on social media could be emotionally overwhelming: “I am an emotional man … once you are active, it becomes difficult to control yourself.”

What makes his perspective even more genuine? Fawad doesn’t want to offend anyone with his views—he prefers real-life interactions. If a fan wants to talk, he’d rather sit down and chat than leave a public comment online. “If I meet fans … I would love to talk to them … I might become addicted … I would like to keep it out of my life.”

He also shared that he’s emotionally aware enough to know where his boundaries lie, a level of self-reflection rarely seen in today’s attention-driven world.
