Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has arrived at the White House in Washington, marking his first visit to the United States in seven years. Donald Trump personally welcomed the Crown Prince at the Oval Office, setting the stage for high-level talks.

The agenda for the meeting includes discussions on major defence acquisitions, including U.S. jets, Saudi investment in American artificial intelligence infrastructure, and expanded U.S.–Saudi civilian nuclear energy cooperation. American officials expect several agreements to be signed as part of Saudi Arabia’s $600 billion investment pledge in the U.S.
The visit signals a significant deepening of bilateral ties, with both nations aiming to broaden cooperation beyond traditional oil and security frameworks into the tech and energy sectors.
