The Punjab School Education Department has officially declared winter vacations from December 22, 2025, to January 10, 2026, for all public and private schools across the province.

Schools will remain closed during this period and are set to reopen on January 12, 2026, giving students, teachers, and families a much-needed break amid the cold season and smog concerns.

The decision comes as part of efforts to protect students’ health and accommodate changing weather conditions, especially in light of winter’s onset. The uniform schedule applies to both government and private institutions, ensuring consistency across the province.
