Pakistan and seven other Muslim-majority countries have strongly condemned Israel’s recent decision to declare large areas of land in the occupied West Bank as Israeli state property, calling the move illegal and a serious violation of international law.

In a joint statement, the countries warned that such actions undermine peace efforts and threaten the prospects of a two-state solution. They emphasised that Israel’s continued expansion of settlements and land appropriation violates United Nations resolutions and Palestinian rights.
The countries also urged the international community to take immediate steps to stop Israeli settlement expansion and hold Israel accountable for actions that destabilise the region. Pakistan reiterated its unwavering support for the Palestinian people and their right to an independent state with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.
The development comes amid rising tensions in the Middle East, with growing international concern over the escalating Israeli-Palestinian conflict and its regional implications.
