A tragic road accident on Monday, September 8, 2025, claimed the lives of seven members of a single family in Naushehro Feroze, Sindh, leaving a community in shock. The devastating collision occurred on the National Highway near Sidhuja, highlighting the persistent dangers of reckless driving on Pakistan’s roads.
The accident took place when a speeding trailer slammed into a car carrying a family traveling toward Khairpur. According to police reports, the impact was so severe that all seven passengers, including two men, three women, and two children, died instantly. Among the victims was Ali Ahmed Janwari, a resident of Luqman Jan Muhammad Janwari village in Khairpur district. Heartbreakingly, Ali Ahmed was transporting his late father’s body from Karachi to their ancestral village for burial when the tragedy struck. His wife, Shabiran, and daughter, Asma, were also among the deceased.
The trailer driver reportedly fled the scene, prompting police to launch a manhunt. Initial investigations point to reckless driving and overspeeding as the primary causes. Authorities shifted the bodies to a nearby hospital for medico-legal formalities before sending them to the family’s village for burial.
