Karachi:Two people were killed in a firing incident near Siddiq Akbar Mosque in Karachi’s Nagin Chowrangi area late Saturday night.
According to police, the tragic shooting occurred around 2 a.m. when two unidentified gunmen riding a motorcycle opened fire indiscriminately. SSP Central confirmed that both victims died on the spot, adding that initial investigations suggest the attack was a case of target killing.
Police said the deceased were reportedly affiliated with a religious group. Forensic teams collected evidence from the scene, while further investigation is underway.
CCTV footage obtained by authorities shows two suspects fleeing the area on a motorcycle shortly after the shooting.
