Karachi: police have uncovered a shocking case involving a domestic worker who, despite earning a salary of just 45,000 rupees a month, turned out to be a millionaire. Investigators found that the man owned gold worth nearly one crore rupees, had made bank transactions exceeding one crore, and maintained four separate bank accounts.

According to police officials, the accused used stolen money to purchase valuable properties not only in Karachi but also in Islamabad and Haripur. He even invested in a passenger bus operating on the Haripur route.

Sources revealed that an elderly couple had hired the man as a domestic worker around eight years ago. The couple’s children, living abroad, regularly sent large sums of money to their parents for household expenses. After the death of the elderly man, the worker continued to serve the widow — but during this time, he allegedly exploited her trust and began siphoning off huge sums into his own accounts.

Police have registered a case against the suspect and initiated a detailed investigation. Authorities are now tracing the ownership records of his properties and bank accounts to uncover the full extent of his financial network.
