Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has said the government has no intention of politicising the health of former prime minister Imran Khan, stressing that he is being provided proper medical care in accordance with jail regulations.

Speaking to the media, Naqvi dismissed concerns raised by the Pakistan Tehreek‑e‑Insaf leadership regarding Khan’s condition, stating that medical facilities are being provided as per the law and standard procedures. He emphasised that all inmates are treated equally and no discrimination is being made.
The minister said authorities remain committed to ensuring transparency and following due process, adding that medical boards and jail doctors are regularly monitoring Khan’s health.
PTI leaders have repeatedly expressed concerns about Khan’s well-being during his incarceration, while the government maintains that his health is stable and under professional supervision.
