Bilawal Bhutto Calls on PTI to Abandon Extremism for Better Politics

Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has urged Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to leave behind extremism, saying such politics does more harm than good and that abandoning it would benefit both the party and national stability. Speaking to the media in Larkana, he emphasised that political parties should focus on democratic engagement and constructive dialogue rather than confrontational tactics.

Bilawal warned that attacking national institutions or reacting to arrests with aggression would provoke stronger responses, urging restraint and political maturity. He also stated that PPP prioritises education reforms and youth empowerment and believes political solutions are essential for democracy’s survival.

Highlighting the need for broader political space, Bilawal said parties must find peaceful paths forward and steer away from extremism to strengthen Pakistan’s democratic process.
