A highly secretive Iranian nuclear facility known as “Peak X Mountain” has emerged as one of the primary targets in US President Donald Trump’s latest warnings against Tehran. The underground complex is believed to be among Iran’s most heavily fortified nuclear installations, making it a key focus of growing tensions between the two countries.

During an interview with American radio host Hugh Hewitt, President Trump said the United States was preparing to target Peak X Mountain, warning Iran to be ready for possible military action. His remarks have intensified speculation about Washington’s next move amid escalating geopolitical tensions in the Middle East.
Military analysts believe the facility’s location deep beneath a mountain makes it extremely difficult to destroy using conventional airstrikes. The site is reportedly designed to withstand missile attacks and protect sensitive nuclear infrastructure, reinforcing its strategic importance to Iran’s nuclear programme. Its heavily fortified construction has made it one of the country’s most secure military installations.
The renewed focus on Peak X Mountain comes as diplomatic relations between Washington and Tehran continue to deteriorate. Experts warn that any military strike on such a critical facility could significantly escalate regional tensions, threaten energy security, and increase the risk of a broader conflict across the Middle East. The latest developments are being closely watched by governments and international observers around the world.
