Hamas hands over two more hostage bodies to Israel

Gaza: The Palestinian resistance group Hamas has handed over the bodies of two more hostages to Israel under the ongoing ceasefire agreement.

According to international media reports, the Israeli army confirmed that the bodies were received through the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). The remains have been shifted to the National Institute of Forensic Medicine for identification.

So far, Hamas has handed over the bodies of 15 out of 28 hostages killed, while 13 bodies are still said to be in its custody. Israeli officials have confirmed that the identification process for the newly received bodies is underway.

The exchange of bodies continues under the Gaza ceasefire agreement, which was brokered to facilitate humanitarian measures and reduce tensions between the two sides.
