Taylor Swift Becomes Second-Youngest Ever Inducted Into Songwriters Hall of Fame

Global music superstar Taylor Swift has been named to the Songwriters Hall of Fame, becoming the second-youngest artist in history to receive the honour at age 36, the organisation announced. The prestigious accolade—which recognizes songwriters whose work has had a lasting impact on music—places Swift alongside legends like Stevie Wonder, who was inducted at age 33.

Swift will be formally inducted at the Hall’s June 11 ceremony at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City, joining fellow 2026 honourees including Alanis Morissette, Kenny Loggins, and Kiss members Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons.

With 14 Grammy Awards and a catalogue of global hits spanning multiple genres, Swift’s induction celebrates her evolution as one of the most influential songwriters of her generation. Her recent releases—including The Life of a Showgirl and The Tortured Poets Department—broke sales records and underscored her enduring creative power.
