The Taj Story, featuring actor Paresh Rawal, has stirred massive debate by portraying the Taj Mahal not as a monument of love but as a symbol of atrocity and genocide. This narrative claims that the memorial hides suppressed Hindu heritage and that history was politically filtered.

However, the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has officially rejected these claims. Experts who have accessed the sealed rooms beneath the Taj Mahal confirm they are plain maintenance chambers—no idols, no temples, no hidden inscriptions, contradicting the film’s storyline.
