Pakistan’s military has clarified that all operations are publicly announced and targeted only against confirmed threats, according to DG ISPR Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Choudhry. Addressing media queries, he emphasized that Pakistan does not differentiate between “good” or “bad” Taliban, maintaining a zero-tolerance policy against terrorism.

Commenting on the ongoing trial of General Faiz Hameed, the ISPR chief urged patience, stating, “Let the legal process take its course; the final decision will be announced in due time.” He also delivered a stern warning to those who perceive themselves as above the nation, asserting, “If someone thinks their status is bigger than the country, that’s unacceptable.”
The statement reinforces Pakistan’s commitment to national security, transparency in military actions, and upholding the rule of law in all matters related to defence and counterterrorism.
