Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab inaugurated “Method and Madness,” the first exhibition of five planned as part of the World Culture Festival Karachi 2026, at the Arts Council of Pakistan on Friday.

The exhibition features artworks by 12 international and 14 Pakistani artists, bringing together creative talent from different cultural backgrounds.
Speaking at the event, Wahab welcomed the participating artists to Karachi and hoped they would enjoy their stay and interactions with local artists.
Ireland’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Mary O’Neill, also praised the festival, describing its atmosphere as exciting and highlighting the importance of cultural events in bringing people together despite global conflicts.
The 25-day World Culture Festival has brought approximately 1,000 international artists from more than 150 countries, alongside 500 Pakistani artists. Running until November 22, the festival includes music, theater, dance, films, visual arts, workshops, and cultural discussions.
