90 members of the provincial assembly elected Sohail Afridi.

Speaker Babar Saleem Swati presided over the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly session. Speaking on the occasion, Babar Saleem Swati stated that all of the assembly’s members participated in today’s election, that the job done was done in accordance with the constitution, and that the opposition parties may have been under pressure because they left.
