Khawaja Asif stated in an interview with Geo News in Islamabad that peace and trust must be restored before trade or other constructive advancements can take place. We will welcome Kabul’s desire to play a constructive role.

Khawaja Asif said that if they are stubborn or playing the role of a proxy for India, then nothing can be said. If they support terrorism or TTP at the behest of India, then nothing can be done.

He stated that if negotiations are initiated, some outcomes had to be attained. Peace is the foundation of all these criteria, and without it, we cannot proceed.
