Haris Rauf Fined 20% of Match Fee for Breaching ICC Code of Conduct

Pakistan fast bowler Haris Rauf has been fined 20 per cent of his match fee for breaching the International Cricket Council (ICC) Code of Conduct during the ODI tri-series match against England in Lahore on Sunday.

According to the ICC, Rauf breached Level 1 of the Code of Conduct after an on-field disagreement involving England all-rounder Will Jacks during the 46th over of Pakistan’s innings.

Rauf appealed for a wide delivery from the non-striker’s end and argued with Jacks after the appeal was rejected. The ICC said the Pakistani pacer continued arguing despite a warning from on-field umpire Sharfuddoula and raised his bat in frustration.

The incident was deemed a breach of Article 2.20, which relates to conduct contrary to the spirit of the game. Rauf also received one demerit point as part of the disciplinary action.

Despite the controversy, Rauf played a crucial role in Pakistan’s dramatic one-wicket victory over England, contributing alongside Shadab Khan, whose century helped secure the win.

The ICC confirmed the sanction on Wednesday, October 28, 2026.
