Pakistan has strongly condemned Israeli military aggression against Lebanon, with the Foreign Office (FO) calling the attacks a serious violation of international law and humanitarian principles. In an official statement, Islamabad expressed deep concern over the escalating violence, which has resulted in civilian casualties and widespread destruction of infrastructure.

The FO stated that Israel’s actions undermine ongoing efforts to maintain peace and stability in the region and risk worsening an already fragile humanitarian situation. It warned that continued aggression could further destabilise the Middle East at a time of heightened tensions linked to the broader regional conflict.
Pakistan urged the international community to take “urgent and concrete steps” to halt Israeli military operations, particularly the indiscriminate targeting of civilians and violations of Lebanon’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Reaffirming its stance, Pakistan expressed unwavering solidarity with the people and government of Lebanon, emphasising support for their sovereignty, unity, and right to peace. The FO also stressed the need for restraint and renewed diplomatic efforts to prevent further escalation.
The statement comes amid intensifying hostilities in the region, raising concerns over a broader conflict and worsening humanitarian conditions.
