MI-17 Crash in Hudor Village: Five Soldiers Martyred

On September 1, 2025, a somber incident unfolded near Hudor village, approximately 12 kilometers from Thakdas Cantonment, where an MI-17 helicopter of the Pakistan Army crashed during a routine training flight. The crash occurred around 10:00 AM due to a technical fault, claiming the lives of all five crew members on board.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed their martyrdom, identifying the fallen soldiers as Major Atif (Pilot in Command), Major Faisal (Co-pilot), Naib Subedar Maqbool (Flight Engineer), Havaldar Jahangir (Crew Chief), and Naik Amir (Crew Chief).
