US President Donald Trump has expressed his confidence in Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, as well as his interest in resolving the Pak-Afghan conflict.

Donald Trump claimed that his government had halted eight wars in eight months while speaking at the ASEAN Summit currently taking place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The US president stated that there is one war left, as Pakistan and Afghanistan have initiated talks. He is confident that this matter will be resolved soon, suggesting that this is something they can handle effectively.

He said that I have heard that problems have started again between Pakistan and Afghanistan. I will resolve the Pak-Afghan issues soon. I know both of them. The Prime Minister of Pakistan and the Field Marshal are good people. I do not doubt that we will resolve the Pak-Afghan issue soon.
