Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi recently shared a deeply emotional memory from his teenage years, revealing a painful moment that still haunts him. Speaking on a podcast, the Munna Bhai MBBS star recalled that his mother, who was suffering from kidney failure, repeatedly asked him for water before she passed away, but he couldn’t give her any on doctors’ orders.

“I was just 14 when both my parents died,” Warsi said. “My mother kept asking me for water that night, but I couldn’t give it to her because the doctors had forbidden it. She died that same night. I still regret it.”

The actor added that losing both parents at such a young age forced him to grow up too soon. After his father’s financial struggles and their move from a large home to a smaller one, Warsi said he tried to stay strong for his family, but weeks later, the grief overwhelmed him.

“Looking back now,” he reflected, “I feel I should have given her that water.”
