Meghan Markle could be preparing for a major return to acting, with reports suggesting that the Duchess of Sussex is in talks to join Netflix’s crime-comedy series The Gentlemen, created by filmmaker Guy Ritchie.

According to reports, Markle is being considered for a role in a potential third season of the hit series. However, the show has not yet officially been renewed for a third season, and no agreement has been finalised. Netflix has also not confirmed Markle’s involvement.
If the deal goes ahead, the role would mark a significant return to scripted acting for Markle, who became widely known for playing Rachel Zane in the legal drama Suits. She left the series in 2017 before marrying Prince Harry in 2018 and stepping away from her acting career.
Markle has remained involved in entertainment through her and Harry’s Netflix partnership, producing projects including Harry & Meghan and With Love, Meghan. She has also recently made a cameo appearance in the upcoming comedy Close Personal Friends.
The Gentlemen, inspired by Ritchie’s 2019 film, stars Theo James and follows an aristocrat who discovers that his inherited estate is connected to a criminal cannabis empire. Its second season is scheduled to premiere on September 3.
