During his stay in Islamabad, the Kuwaiti foreign minister is also expected to call on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and meet other senior Pakistani officials. The visit comes as Pakistan continues to deepen diplomatic engagement with Gulf countries and strengthen strategic partnerships across the region.

Pakistan and Kuwait enjoy longstanding diplomatic relations, with thousands of Pakistanis living and working in the Gulf state and contributing to its economy. Both countries have maintained close cooperation in economic, political, and people-to-people exchanges while regularly coordinating on regional and international issues.

Officials expect the visit to provide fresh momentum to bilateral ties, paving the way for greater collaboration in economic development, investment, and regional stability while reaffirming the strong friendship between Islamabad and Kuwait.
