KSE-100 Gains Over 500 Points as Investors Build Positions

The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) saw strong buying activity on Monday, with the benchmark KSE-100 Index gaining more than 500 points as investors built positions across major sectors.

The index climbed during the trading session as market sentiment improved and investors increased exposure to key sectors, including banking, fertiliser, cement, and exploration and production companies.

Analysts attributed the positive momentum to renewed investor confidence and expectations of improved economic conditions. Strong corporate fundamentals and macroeconomic developments also supported buying interest.

The gains come after recent volatility in the market, with investors closely monitoring developments surrounding Pakistan’s economy, interest rates, inflation, and external financing.

Trading activity remained active as market participants looked for opportunities in fundamentally strong stocks.

The latest rise highlights continued investor interest in Pakistani equities despite broader economic and geopolitical uncertainties.

Market watchers will now be closely monitoring whether the KSE-100 can sustain the upward momentum in the coming sessions.
