Travellers flying to or through the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are being advised to closely monitor their flight schedules as regional tensions continue to affect air travel across the Gulf. Airlines are adjusting routes, delaying services, and cancelling some flights due to evolving security concerns linked to the ongoing US-Iran conflict.

Authorities have urged passengers to check the latest updates with their airlines before heading to the airport and to allow extra time for travel. While major UAE airports, including Dubai International Airport and Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi, remain operational, airlines are continuously reassessing flight paths to ensure passenger safety.
The European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has also issued updated guidance advising European airlines to avoid flying over the airspace of the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and the Gulf of Oman until at least July 29, citing increased risks from missile and drone activity following renewed hostilities in the region.
Travellers are encouraged to monitor airline notifications, stay informed through official travel advisories, and remain flexible with their itineraries as the security situation continues to evolve. Aviation experts say flight schedules may change at short notice depending on developments in the region, making planning essential for passengers travelling through Gulf hubs.
