Pakistan got off the mark in the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup 2026, securing a convincing 6-wicket victory over Scotland in their 12th match of the tournament held in Harare, Zimbabwe. Scotland posted a total of 187 runs after batting first, with skipper Thomas Knight scoring 37, supported by Finlay Jones (33) and Ollie Jones (30). Pakistan’s fast bowlers led the charge, as Ali Raza claimed four wickets for 37 runs and Momin Qamar added three scalps.

Chasing 188 for victory, Pakistan reached the target comfortably in the 44th over, losing only four wickets. Usman Khan starred with a solid 75, while Ahmad Hussain contributed a crucial 47, guiding the Green Shirts to their first win of the World Cup.

Elsewhere in the tournament, South Africa crushed Tanzania by a huge 329-run margin, showcasing dominant form in the group stage.
