Terrorist Network Behind Suicide Attack on Peshawar FC Headquarters Identified

Security agencies have identified the terrorist network responsible for the suicide attack on the Federal Constabulary (FC) Headquarters in Peshawar, officials confirmed on Tuesday. According to investigators, the attacker was linked to a banned militant outfit operating across border regions, with evidence pointing to external facilitation and planning.

Authorities revealed that the suicide bomber targeted the FC compound with the intention of causing maximum casualties, but timely security measures helped limit damage. Intelligence sources say communication records, digital footprints, and logistical support channels have helped trace the handlers involved in planning the attack.

Law-enforcement agencies have launched coordinated operations to arrest facilitators and dismantle sleeper cells connected to the network. Officials stressed that counter-terrorism efforts remain active and vowed to bring all those involved to justice. The attack has renewed concerns over militant activity in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
