The Torkham border crossing is now available for the return of Afghan nationals living illegally in Pakistan.

The Deputy Commissioner of Khyber claims that yesterday it was agreed to open the Torkham border to drive out Afghan citizens who were living there illegally. In an attempt to return home, hundreds of Afghan nationals have arrived at the Torkham immigration post.
According to the Deputy Commissioner, the Torkham border crossing will remain closed for trade and foot traffic.
It should be mentioned that tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan last month led to the closure of the Torkham border on October 11.
