German technology company Siemens has expressed its willingness to expand support for Pakistan’s healthcare infrastructure following a meeting between its executives and President Asif Ali Zardari in Berlin on October 24, 2026.

According to a statement from the President’s Office, Siemens Executive Vice President Daniel Frisch briefed Zardari on the company’s work in Pakistan and expressed interest in introducing innovative solutions and advanced technologies to strengthen existing healthcare facilities.
The Siemens delegation also said its representatives would soon visit Pakistan to sign memorandums of understanding (MoUs) with local partners focused on capacity building and healthcare technology. The company’s technological cooperation includes areas such as cancer, stroke and other diseases.
President Zardari called for greater use of research-based and technology-driven solutions to improve healthcare services, particularly for low-income communities and people living in remote areas. He also assured Siemens of institutional support through the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).
The meeting comes as Pakistan and Germany mark 75 years of diplomatic relations, creating opportunities for broader cooperation in technology, healthcare, and investment.
