The captain of the Pakistan national hockey team, Imad Butt, declared that the squad is fully focused on the upcoming Pro Hockey League. He emphasised that preparation has been excellent and that the team is working hard to address previous weaknesses.

Speaking to the media ahead of their departure to Argentina, Butt said tournaments like this significantly boost players’ morale and push everyone to perform their best.
He clarified that the team’s immediate target is to qualify through the Pro League—an essential step before facing tougher European teams. The squad left tonight to compete against top-tier opponents, with their opening matches scheduled for early December.
