JF-17 Thunder Steals the Show at Dubai Airshow as MoU Signed for New Export Deal

Pakistan’s JF-17 Thunder made a major splash at the Dubai Airshow 2025, drawing crowds and high-level attention both on the ground and during aerial demonstrations. Pilots from the Pakistan Air Force performed precision aerobatics with the Block-III variant, while the static display allowed visitors to get a close-up view of its advanced avionics and weapons systems.

On the sidelines of the show, the PAF’s Chief of Air Staff engaged in strategic talks with military officials from friendly nations, resulting in a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the procurement of JF-17 jets. The agreement signals growing international confidence in the jet’s capabilities and Pakistan’s defense export ambitions.

This moment highlights Pakistan’s ambition to expand its aerospace footprint, and the JF-17 is now front and centre as a symbol of that evolving strength.
