Popular Pakistani YouTuber Saad ur Rehman, better known as Ducky Bhai, faces extended detention after a Lahore magistrate dismissed his post-arrest bail application on September 22, 2025.
Judicial Magistrate Naeem Wattoo rejected the plea during proceedings at the district courts, citing the ongoing National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) probe into his alleged promotion of illegal online gambling apps.
Consequently, Ducky Bhai remains on judicial remand, serving out his current 14-day term while investigators push forward.
Moreover, authorities arrested Ducky Bhai on August 17, 2025, at Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport as he attempted to flee the country—his name already on the Provisional National Identification List (PNIL).
The FIR accuses him of endorsing apps like Binomo, 1xBet, Bet365, and B9 Game via social media vlogs, luring young followers into betting and causing widespread financial losses.
Additionally, charges fall under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act and sections 294-B and 420 of the Pakistan Penal Code for fraud and obscenity.
His lawyer argued the case as “false and baseless,” with no direct complainant or prior record, but the court prioritized the investigation.
Furthermore, the magistrate directed NCCIA to submit the challan promptly, signaling deeper scrutiny into digital accounts, seized devices, and potential recoveries.
Thus, this ruling heightens pressure on influencers amid Pakistan’s crackdown on cyber-enabled scams.
