Ducky Bhai’s Public Apology: Regrets Over Betting Apps and Past Videos

Saad ur Rehman, popularly known as Ducky Bhai, issued a heartfelt apology to the nation following his arrest for allegedly promoting illegal gambling apps.

At a Lahore court hearing, the YouTuber with nearly 9 million subscribers apologized to reporters for producing inappropriate roasting videos early in his career and promoting betting apps without confirming their legality.

The apology comes as the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) extended his remand for five more days to probe his ties to international gambling syndicates.

Ducky Bhai admitted that his roasting videos from seven years ago hurt people and were a mistake. He also acknowledged promoting apps like Binomo, 1xBet, and Bet365, believing their visibility on PSL jerseys and TV ads made them legitimate.

“I saw these apps everywhere, so I thought they were safe,” he said, asking for forgiveness from Pakistanis. The NCCIA, however, alleges his promotions misled followers into investing in fraudulent schemes, causing financial losses.

As the investigation continues, with a bail hearing set for mid-September, Ducky Bhai’s career hangs in the balance. Fans hope for a resolution, but rebuilding trust seems to be a challenge.
