A heartbreaking incident in Karachi’s Raees Goth, Baldia Town, claimed the life of a young schoolgirl when a speeding truck collided with a motorcycle carrying her and her family.
Keamari Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Captain Faizan Ali confirmed the details, noting the accident occurred as the father was returning home from school with his two daughters.
The collision killed one daughter instantly, while the father and the second daughter sustained injuries, according to rescue officials.
The deceased girl, whose identity remains undisclosed, wore clothes adorned with the Pakistani flag, a poignant symbol of her patriotic spirit ahead of Pakistan’s Independence Day on August 14.
The truck driver fled the scene, but authorities have seized the vehicle, and SSP Faizan Ali stated that a case will be registered against the driver, with efforts underway to apprehend him.
