Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah Honours Kashmir Resolution Day

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah paid tribute to the Kashmiri people’s enduring struggle and sacrifices in a special message marking Youm-e-Qarardad-e-Kashmir.

Commemorating the historic resolution of July 19, 1947, when Kashmiris voted to accede to Pakistan, Shah reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering support for their cause. “Kashmir is Pakistan, and Pakistan stands firmly with the Kashmiri people in their struggle,” he declared, emphasizing the deep emotional, cultural, and ideological bond between the two.

Shah highlighted the Kashmiri people’s decades-long resistance against Indian oppression, describing their struggle as a historic stand against tyranny. He noted that Pakistan has consistently exposed India’s human rights violations in Jammu and Kashmir on international platforms, including the United Nations, revealing what he called India’s “true face.”

The Chief Minister expressed confidence that the Kashmiri struggle, rooted in sacrifices and resilience, will one day lead to freedom. “The day is not far when Kashmiris will breathe in an atmosphere of liberty,” he said.
