Karachi Raid: FIA Arrests Agent for Visa Fraud and Smuggling

The Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Anti-Human Trafficking Circle in Karachi has arrested a suspect involved in human smuggling and visa fraud, marking another step in their ongoing efforts to combat human trafficking.

According to an FIA spokesperson, the operation was carried out under the directives of Director General FIA, Rafaqat Mukhtar, as part of a broader crackdown on human trafficking networks. During a targeted raid in Karachi, authorities apprehended Abdul Zahid Khan, an agent allegedly involved in human smuggling and visa fraud.

The FIA revealed that Khan had facilitated illegal travel by affixing counterfeit exit stamps to travel documents. One victim, Muzammil Muzaffar, was offloaded from a Qatar-bound flight after authorities detected the fraudulent stamps, exposing Khan’s illicit activities.

The FIA spokesperson further stated that an investigation into the suspect’s activities has been initiated. As the investigation into Khan’s case progresses, the FIA urges the public to rely only on verified and legal channels for overseas employment and migration to avoid falling prey to such scams.
