The Sindh Driving License Authority has reached a significant milestone in its digital transformation journey.

According to a spokesperson, following the vision of the Sindh government and directives from Inspector General of Police Ghulam Nabi Memon, the online driving license portal was launched on September 28, 2024. Under the leadership of DIG Younis Chandio, the initiative has achieved a record-breaking feat, issuing over 200,897 online learner licenses, with 200,000 individuals obtaining their learner licenses from the comfort of their homes. This follows the milestone of 100,000 learner licenses issued on February 18, 2025.

To date, the portal has facilitated 14,067 online permanent license renewals and 7,600 international driving permits. Additionally, 375,127 users have registered on the Sindh Driving License online web portal, showcasing the platform’s growing popularity and success in enhancing public convenience.
