Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan is set to travel to Riyadh to attend a meeting of the committee established under the Saudi Arabia-Türkiye Strategic Defence Agreement, according to reports.

The meeting in the Saudi capital is expected to focus on strengthening defence and security cooperation between the two countries.
Fidan’s visit comes as Saudi Arabia and Türkiye continue efforts to expand their strategic partnership across defence, security, and regional affairs. The two countries have increased high-level contacts in recent years, including cooperation on military and defence matters.
The joint committee is designed to help coordinate implementation of the defence agreement and explore areas for deeper military cooperation.
