Gold prices in Pakistan have witnessed a significant increase, reflecting trends in the international market. The price of 24-carat gold per tola rose by PKR 3,600, reaching a record high of PKR 361,200.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold surged by PKR 3,087, climbing to PKR 309,671. In the global market, the price of gold per ounce jumped by USD 36, hitting USD 3,387, driven by economic uncertainties and investor demand for safe-haven assets.

Local jewelers noted that the surge has impacted demand, with buyers increasingly cautious due to the unprecedented rates.
