Raja Khaliq-uz-Zaman Ansari Rejects PTI’s Protest Call: Hails PM Shariff

Raja Khaliq-uz-Zaman Ansari, the spokesperson for the Sindh government, has dismissed the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) recent call for protests, labeling it an attempt to sow chaos rather than a genuine public movement. In a video statement, Ansari asserted that the public has rejected PTI’s narrative, pointing to low turnout at recent rallies in Karachi and Hyderabad as evidence of waning support for the opposition party.

He credited Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s leadership for steering Pakistan toward economic and diplomatic success, citing initiatives like the Prime Minister’s Youth Program at NED University as proof of progress.

Ansari criticized PTI’s repeated protest calls, particularly referencing their “final call” for demonstrations, which he claimed was met with public indifference. “The people of Pakistan have rejected PTI, and they continue to reject them today,” he stated.

He alleged that PTI’s rallies in Karachi and Hyderabad were attended primarily by “paid workers” rather than ordinary citizens, reflecting a lack of grassroots support. “The public sees that Pakistan is on the path to progress,” Ansari added, attributing this sentiment to the government’s achievements under PM Shehbaz Sharif.

“Pakistan’s green passport, once ranked 113th globally, is now among the top 100,” Ansari claimed, pointing to improved international standing. He emphasized that Pakistan has become a focal point on the global stage, countering earlier attempts by adversaries, particularly India, to isolate the country diplomatically.
